RAUB: Dengan sekeping gambar berwajah mat salih diletakkan dalam laman Facebook (FB) dan bermodalkan air liur, seorang lelaki mengambil kesempatan meluahkan perasaan cinta serta sayang terhadap seorang gadis sebelum menipu mangsa mengakibatkan kerugian RM3,800.

Terdahulu, mangsa berusia 25 tahun yang tinggal di sebuah taman perumahan dekat sini, berkenalan dengan kaki temberang terbabit di FB pada 1 Februari lalu sebelum lelaki itu meluahkan perasaan terhadap mangsa termasuk bertukar nombor telefon.

Difahamkan, selepas dua hari berkenalan, lelaki terbabit menabur janji untuk memberi mangsa pelbagai hadiah seperti iPhone 5, mini iPad serta wang tunai RM48,780.86 sempena hadiah ulang tahun kelahiran dan Tahun Baru Cina.

Ketua Polis Daerah Raub Superintendan Wan Mohd Samsudin Wan Osman berkata, bagaimanapun semua dijanjikan hanya ‘wayang’ untuk memperdayakan mangsa sebelum lelaki itu memberitahu nombor kod sebagai bukti penghantaran hadiah sudah dikirim ke dalam mesej peribadi FB mangsa.

Menurutnya, mangsa yang membuat semakan di FB mendakwa ada menerima kod berkenaan sebelum lelaki itu menghubungi mangsa memberitahu hadiah sudah dihantar menggunakan perkhidmatan ekspres.

Katanya, selepas beberapa hari, mangsa menerima satu panggilan daripada seorang lelaki yang memperkenalkan diri sebagai ejen perkhidmatan ekspres sebelum menjelaskan kepada mangsa kononnya hadiah miliknya ditahan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (KDRM).

“Bagaimanapun, ejen itu menghubungi mangsa dan meminta memasukkan RM1,800 dalam akaun sebuah bank sebagai bayaran cukai KDRM sebelum mangsa diminta memasukkan RM2,000 untuk proses melepaskan barang berkenaan tidak mencukupi.

“Selepas mangsa memasukkan RM2,000 lagi ke dalam sebuah akaun bank, mangsa dihubungi ejen sama beberapa hari kemudian meminta memasukkan RM1,700 sebagai bayaran bagi perlindungan insurans,” katanya.

Menurutnya, bagaimanapun, mangsa yang dikatakan sudah kekeringan wang meminta pandangan keluarga berhubung kejadian itu sebelum menyedari dirinya tertipu dengan helah lelaki berkenaan.
