KUALA LUMPUR: Shell Malaysia announced its Vice President (VP) Malaysia, Upstream International, and Country Chair Malaysia, Datuk Anuar Taib has elected to leave the company effective June 30, to pursue other opportunities.
Anuar will be replaced by Iain Lo, currently VP New Business Development & Ventures, Chemicals, with effect from July 1.
Lo will be based in Kuala Lumpur, the group said in a statement here today.
Anuar, a well engineer by discipline, has worked for Shell since 1990, in a variety of technical and business development positions in both Asia and the United States.
He has been instrumental in shaping a strong future for Shell in Malaysia, and has been an active champion of the Asian talent agenda.
"We would like to thank Datuk Anuar for his contributions to Shell and to wish him well in his further endeavors, the company said.
