Pic: Sinar HarianPic: Sinar HarianKUALA LUMPUR: Beberapa penyokong kerajaan hari ini mengecam tindakan Gabungan Pertubuhan Bukan Kerajaan Malaysia (Comango) membawa laporan berhubung hak asasi manusia ke Semakan Berkala Sejagat (UPR) di Geneva kerana beberapa perkara yang dikemukakan kumpulan itu bertentangan dengan Perlembagaan negara.

Datuk Seri Noh Omar (BN-Tanjong Karang) berkata Comango dilihat berselindung di sebalik hak asasi manusia untuk membawa agenda yang boleh mengancam Islam dan mempromosi seks songsang.

Ketika membahaskan Rang Undang-Undang Kesalahan Keselamatan (Langkah-Langkah Khas) 2013 pada persidangan Dewan Rakyat hari ini, beliau mengaitkan tindakan Comango itu sebagai 'bunga-bunga' yang menjurus kepada ancaman perpaduan agama di dalam negara yang disifatkannya sebagai ancaman keselamatan alaf baharu.

"Ada beberapa perkara yang dibawa oleh Comango mencabar dan menggugat kedudukan Islam dalam Perlembagaan sebagai agama Persekutuan.

"Ia juga dilihat cuba memperjuang hak lesbian, gay, biseksual dan transgender (LGBT), murtad... adakah ini menyentuh hak asasi manusia?" soalnya.

Pandangan beliau disokong Shabudin Yahaya (BN-Tasek Gelugor) yang menyifatkan apa yang terkandung dalam laporan Comango ke Majlis Hak Asasi Manusia (HRC) Pertubuhan Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) boleh merosak dan memudaratkan pegangan rakyat di negara ini.

"Perincian yang dituntut oleh Comango bukan menyentuh isu-isu hak asasi manusia sahaja tetapi turut merangkumi hak kebebasan orientasi seks, lesbian, gay, biseksual dan transgender. Hak kebebasan murtad bagi orang Islam, hak kesamarataan agama," katanya.

Selain itu, katanya Comango juga mempersoal kes penggunaan kalimah Allah, mengenai Syiah dan hak seorang bapa untuk mengIslamkan anak bawah umur, menuntut undang-undang jenayah Syariah dihapuskan dan memberi persepsi negatif penguatkuasaan Jabatan Agama Islam negeri yang berusaha berdakwah kepada orang Asli, serta mendesak kerajaan menarik balik pengharaman buku karya penulis kontroversi Irshad Manji bertajuk 'Allah, Kebebasan dan Cinta'.

"Ini semua isu panas dan mengundang perasaan tak puas hati dalam kalangan rakyat, bercanggah Perlembagaan dan hak orang Islam.

Sebab itu, saya minta kerajaan buka mata dan ambil perhatian seterusnya selaraskan tindakan yang perlu supaya hak-hak istimewa rakyat di Malaysia jangan dipertikai di peringkat antarabangsa.

"Jangan sampai kita serah diri dan orang lain yang tentukan apa yang disuap ke mulut kita," tegasnya.

Comango merupakan gabungan kira-kira 50 NGO Malaysia yang merangka kandungan laporan mengenai hak asasi manusia untuk dikemukakan kepada UPR esok di Geneva.

Setiap empat setengah tahun, kumpulan kerja UPR dalam Majlis Hak Asasi Manusia PBB akan menilai rekod hak asasi manusia kesemua 193 negara anggota PBB.
