The English dailies today reported of the news of a cruel mother who prostituted her own daughters and an equally horrid father who sexually abused his own daughter since she was nine years old and the 7.3 magnitude earthquake at the border of Iran and Iraq whch left more than 300 people dead.

Monster Mum, Monster Dad - The Star reported on how a mother was sentenced to a total of 150 years of jail after being found guilty of prostituting her own daughters to Bangladeshi men. In a separate case, a father has been accused of sexually abusing his own 12 year old daughter since she was 9 years old. Her torment was ended when the welfare officials and police managed to rescue her.

How Could A Mother Do This? - New Straits Times also reported on the mother who turned her 10 and 13 year old daughters into sex slaves for her own profit. To make things worse, she would personally watch while her daughters' were violated by the men.

Mom Gets 75 Years - The Sun Daily also headlined the news of the mother from Johor Bahru who admitted to forcing her daughters into prostitution. The unemployed woman aged 39 years old, was accused of 'selling' her daughters for RM50 per session.

Iran, Iraq Rocked - The Malay Mail meanwhile headlined the news of a 7.3 magnitude earthquake at the border of Iran and Iraq which left at least 328 dead, and 2,530 injured. Officials have already warned that the number of casualties and injured due to the earthquake will rise.

It is believed that she forced her daughters to engage in sexual activities with two Bangladeshi men at a budget hotel in Johor Bahru, and she supervised the deed herself, reported Kosmo!.

Data Peribadi Dijual (Personal Data Sold) - Utusan Malaysia highlighted the news of the sale of personal data happening in the black market, as revealed by Ivan Wen, the General Manager of Quann Malaysia. According to Ivan, more than 46.2 million personal data of local mobile phone users can be bought, and every transaction is discreet.

And the vernacular dailies today highlighted the Penang police department tracking down three Indonesians believed to be part of the Rantau gang involved in several armed robberies in Penang and CIMB Group Holdings announcing that some back-up data was lost in transit during routine operations.

Three Indonesians From The Rantau Gang Tracked - ChinaPress reported that the Penang Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigation Department ACP Rahim Rais has said that the police is now tracking down three Indonesians who are believed to be part of the Rantau Gang. The Rantau Gang has been involved with several armed robberies in Penang since early this year.

CIMB Announces Loss Of Back-Up Data - CIMB Group Holdings have announced that several magnetic tapes containing back-up data were lost in transit during routine operations. In response to this incident, CIMB has upped the level of security measures across all of its channels, SinChew Daily reported.
