Healthy & Appetizing Meals Delivered To Your Doorstep

RECENT reports suggest that Malaysia is one of the most obese nations in Asia. This worrying fact puts a spotlight and stresses on the importance of eating healthy and clean even more. After all, you are what you eat.

We know that living in a city like Kuala Lumpur, healthy food can be pricey. To top that up, the hectic work life and not to mention massive traffic jams, doesn’t help in keeping a healthy balance of indulging in a good nutritional meal. That’s why we’re introducing you to a company like Dietliciouss to save your days.

With a tagline of “Don’t eat less… eat right”, the company delivers meals that are healthy, appetizing, and affordable to wherever you may be.

“It all started when I decided to eat healthy and post photos of my meals on Facebook. I used to be overweight and managed to get in shape without taking any supplements, instead I chose to eat healthy,” says Nurul, the owner of Dietliciouss to Malaysian Digest.

Nurul’s photos clearly caught the eyes (and appetites) of her many friends who requested the meals for themselves. Orders soon came pouring in, that’s when she decided to turn it into a full-time business.

“Dietliciouss started in April 2014 as a home-based business with only 2 boxes of meals per day. By September, we were selling 100 boxes, and then in October we moved our operations to a central kitchen,” she recalls.

The company currently delivers three types of meals – daily fresh cooked, frozen, and muscle food for gym enthusiasts. The menu for daily meals are constantly changed, and would cost RM14 inclusive of delivery.

Previous menus include:

- Tilapia oreganata, brown rice, mix vegetables

- Korean minced beef rice bowl

- Garlic and mustard salmon, stuffed baked potatoes, salad

- Skinny chicken, broccoli rice casserole

- Pan seared dory with ‘sambal hijau’, lemongrass rice, green beans

- Salmon Chirashi rice

Current areas of deliveries are limited to Kuala Lumpur city centre, Bangsar, and Damansara for the daily meals, but will be made available to other areas in the near future. However, for frozen meals, orders from outside these areas are possible.

“We hope to launch our website this coming February. At present, information and orders can be made via our Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp,” she explained.
