SHAH ALAM - The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, said that he will continue to serve as the Selangor Chief Minister until the end of this term.
“I will fulfil my promise to the people of Selangor to continue my duties as the Chief Minister until the end of this term,” said Abdul Khalid during a press conference after the Executive Council meeting today.
Abdul Khalid explained that he will abide by the pledge that he will carry out his duties as Chief Minister with full responsibility and trust when he was sworn in as Chief Minister after Pakatan Rakyat’s (PR) comfortable win in the 13th General Election.
Abdul Khalid added that he is also ready to face any pressure from any party seeking to oust him from the state’s number one seat.
