Over 6,000 Property, Discount Up To 20pc Await Muafakat Kedah Expo Visitors

ALOR STAR: Over 6,000 property units in Kedah with discounts up to 20 per cent will be up for grabs.

This are among the irresistable offers which await visitors to the Muafakat Kedah Expo which will be held for eight days from Feb 14 to Mar 3 at the Darul Aman Stadium grounds.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah said the exposition - the biggest ever to be held in the state, will be the best platform for Kedahans to get the latest and most comprehensive information on the state’s development and planning which would benefit the people.

"This expo will also provide a wide opportunity for young Kedahans to share their view and ideas on the state’s future development.

"Their ideas are crucial in shaping the future of the state as we are progressing in various fields," he told reporters after the soft launch of the exposition at Wisma Darulaman here today.

Bashah said the state government is expecting to attract 400,000 visitors including those from Perlis, Penang and north of Perak, to the exposition.

"Those who still looking for their dream home should be here and take advantage of the discounts, while youths looking for jobs are highly encouraged to attend a job fair at the exposition which has 20 different clusters from 199 government department and agencies," he said.

Among the clusters to be showcased at the exposition areb the Royal Kedah Showcase, Barakah Kedah, Kedah Digital, Financial, Kedah Bizz, Kedah Agro, Kedah Islamic initiatives, petting zoo and many more.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to get up close with Malaysian astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Sheikh Mustapha, local celebrities such as Fattah Amin, Fizo Omar, Rozita Che Wan, Janna Nick and many more.

Visitors will also stand a chance to win lucky draws offering prizes including a car, motorcycles, electrical appliances, hotel stay vouchers, holiday packages, home decoration, gadgets and many more.
