SEOUL, 20 JULY, 2011: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin today paid a courtesy call on South Korean President Lee Myung-bak at the Presidential Palace, here.

Tuanku Mizan and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah were greeted on arrival at the palace, or known as Cheong Wa Dae or the Blue House, by President Lee and his wife Kim Yun-ok.

His Majesty's visit to this country is to reciprocate Lee's visit to Malaysia in December last year. This is Tuanku Mizan's first visit to South Korea.

Also present were International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, who is minister-in-attendance, and Malaysian Ambassador to South Korea Datuk Ramlan Ibrahim.

Tuanku Mizan then signed the guest book before meeting President Lee.

Tuanku Nur Zahirah, meanwhile, held a separate meeting with Kim at the palace.

Their Majesties would later attend a luncheon hosted by the Federation of Korean Industry before proceeding to Sejongro Jongrohu for a tour of the Samsung City.

The royal couple would be hosted to a dinner before returning to Malaysia later tonight.
