Nik Aziz: PKR is Like Baby Learning to Crawl PDF Print

PASIR PUTEH, 9 MARCH, 2010: Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat today likened Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) to a baby learning to crawl.

"PAS was also like that. Before it became strong, there were members who left, " he told reporters after presenting donations to victims of a fire in Kampung Wakaf Lanas here today.

Nik Abdul Aziz, who is also Pas spiritual leader, said members crossing over to other parties was normal, especially those from newly formed parties like PKR.

"Before it (party) become strong, we have to accept things like that (cross over to other parties)," he added.

The fire, which broke out about 11am yesterday, destroyed a house belonging to housewife Rohani Jaafar, 33, who suffered losses of about RM90,000.
