PETALING JAYA, 10 MARCH, 2010: The son of former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's former private secretary, who is accused of possessing a hand grenade, was today ordered to be placed at the Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, Perak after he was found to be mentally unsound.

Muhammad Ezra Rusli, 28, also faces two other charges of threatening his father, Datuk Rusli Adbul Malik, 62, using a Glock pistol and threatening to cause injury.

Muhammad Ezra is accused of committing all the offences at a house at C2-67 D'Shire Villa, Jalan Camar 4, Kota Damansara, between 3.30pm and 5pm on Sep 8, last year.

Magistrate Aishah Hijriah Arshad decided that Muhammad Ezra had committed the offences as charged and after taking into consideration the medical report prepared by the hospital, the court was satisfied that at the time of the incident, the accused was mentally unsound.
