| Selangor UMNO to Hold Convention to Evaluate | | Print | |

TANJONG KARANG, 12 MARCH, 2010: Selangor Umno will have a convention early next month in Shah Alam to discuss and review the performance of the opposition pact for two years in the state.
Deputy chairman of the Selangor Umno liaison committee, Datuk Seri Noh Omar, said the convention being held for the first time will encompass all issues faced by the opposition after the 12th general election.
He said Selangor Umno leaders will be given freedom to voice their views on the issues that beset the opposition in Selangor headed by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
"We will study closely the effects of the opposition's administration from the economic, social and political aspects," Noh told reporters after officiating Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Harun's 38th Parent-Teacher Assocation general meeting here today.
Noh, who is also Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister charged that Universiti Industri Selangor (Unisel) which is managed by the Selangor Industrial Education Foundation (PIYSB) registered a loss of RM20 million last year. |
