ktmKUALA LUMPUR: The Platinum Electric-Train-Set (ETS) service between Kuala Lumpur Sentral to Ipoh has been terminated since Monday.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) general manager (Intercity service), Mohd Zain Mat Taha said the Gold and Silver services, however, remained available with new schedule, where the frequency of service was increased to once in every two hours.
Besides, additional train services have also been made available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, he told Bernama here yesterday.
Mohd Zain said the one way-trip of the RM35 Gold ETS service will only stop at six stations, namely Rawang, Tanjung Malim, Slim River, Kampar, Batu Gajah and Ipoh.
The one way-trip of the RM25 Silver ETS service, in the other hand, will stop at 12 selected stations, namely Kepong Sentral, Sungai Buloh, Rawang, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Tanjung Malim, Behrang, Slim River, Sungkai, Tapah Road, Kampar, Batu Gajah and Ipoh.
