PAS vice-president Mohd Sabu said, however, Pakatan Rakyat has decided to hold the gathering on the same date, but at the Seremban Municipal Council (MPS) field in Negri Sembilan. "The assembly has been postponed, as on that day, the stadium will be used for the Suzuki Cup. "We will apply to organize the assembly at the Bukit Jalil Stadium at a later date, possibly January 19 or 12 next year. "We hope to get the cooperation of all authorities involved, including the stadium administrators, to respect our request. This is in line with the government's call to hold any gatherings in stadiums instead of on the street," he told reporters at a Press conference at the Parliament lobby today. Mat Sabu said he anticipates at least 50,000 people to flood the MPS field, decked in yellow to represent Bersih; green for environmentalists; red to represent the demand for oil royalty; or orange to reflect the opposition to Felda’s listing. He said the event, set to be attended by the Pakatan Rakyat top tier, still maintains its objective, which is to support eight demands made to fine-tune the electoral system. The event will take place from 4pm to midnight. Meanwhile, DAP Negri Sembilan chairman Anthony Loke Siew Fook said his representatives were still trying to get approval from MPS to use the field. "We hope MPS won't stop us from using the field," he said.
