The television flipped and fell on Halif Hariz Khairil Anuar when the boy pulled a drawer off the TV rack in a bedroom in the house. Ampang Jaya deputy police chief Supt Md Nazri Zawawi said the incident occurred about 1.50pm. The boy's mother, Nor Azlin Mohd Ali, 31, who was in the room, turned around after hearing a loud thud and saw her son crushed by the television, he said when contacted here. He said Halif Hariz sustained serious injury and died on the way to the Ampang Hospital. Police classified the case as sudden death.

KUALA LUMPUR: A two-year-old boy was killed when a 29-inch television fell on him at his house at Jalan Saujana 1, Taman Ampang Saujana in Ampang here Sunday.
