KAMPAR, 29 APRIL, 2012: A woman was killed and her husband and their three-month-old daughter injured, when their car skidded and crashed into a metal railing at the 306.2km North-South Expressway near here today.

Kang Siew Mei, 35, of Petaling Jaya, died on the spot. She sustained head injuries.
   
Her body was sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.
   
Her 30-year-old husband and their daughter, Tang Lee Yen, who also sustained head injuries, were warded at the hospital
   
Kampar police chief Supt Abdul Aziz Salleh said the trio were on their way to Kuala Lumpur from Ipoh when the crash occurred about 11.30am.
