Mohd_Sharbinee_Allawee_RamliePUTRAJAYA: Terengganu goalkeeper Mohd Sharbinee Allawee Ramlie (pic) has been cleared of corruption allegations by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

Terengganu director Md Yusoff Md Zin said investigations found no proof or document pertaining to the alleged corruption.

He said a polygraph test conducted on Mohd Sharbinee showed that he "had spoken the truth to all questions asked."

"The test revealed no significant reaction that could be linked to corrupt practices," he said in a statement yesterday.

Mohd Sharbinee had strongly denied allegations that he threw a match recently.

He felt the wrath of coach Peter Butler after he appeared to fumble a corner into his own goal, giving Kedah the equalizer in the 1-1 draw in a crucial Malaysia Cup Group B tie.

The former national goalkeeper said he was willing to be investigated by the MACC as he had nothing to hide.

“Let the MACC investigate me. I want to clear my name. I have never sold a match and it saddens me that people have labelled me as corrupt,” he said.
