Pix: US Squash Open Official WebsitePHILADELPHIA: Nicol David strolled into the last eight of the US Open squash championship this morning by beating her first round opponent Camille Serme of France 11-6, 11-8, 11-8 in 42 minutes.
The world number one will take on Allison Waters of England next.
Nicol, happy with her performance against Serne, is now looking forward for the clash against Waters.
In another encounter, world number nine Low Wee Wern crashed out to Raneem El Weleily of Egypt in four sets.
El Weleily won the first set 11-8 but the Malaysian stormed back in the second set to win 11-5. However, the Egyptian proved too hot for Wee Wern in the next two sets winning 11-8, 11-5.
