KOTA BAHARU: Kelantan football fans today were asked to take safety precaution and preserve the team's good name during the FA Cup final against Sime Darby FC at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil this Saturday.

Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat also reminded the fans to maintain true sporting spirit and values throughout the whole match and until they get home safely.

"They should appreciate the one-day holiday given by the state government this Sunday in conjunction with the match," he said in his Facebook page today.

About 50,000 football fans from the state are expected to flock to the National Stadium to support their team which is also known as The Red Warriors.

The state government had declared Sunday as a state holiday to give a fair chance for the fans to go back in comfort and not rush home after the match due to safety concern.
