Shakhtar Donestk's Manager Appears As Zorro In Press Conference After Beating Manchester City

Shakhtar Donestk's manager, Paulo Fonseca, served another surprise after his side's shock 2-1 win against Manchester City earlier today, when he walked into the post-match press conference wearing a costume.

Earlier this season, Fonseca promised that he will dress up as Zorro if Shakhtar managed to advance into the knockout phase from the tough Group F.

Other than Shakhtar Donestk and Manchester City, Group F also included Italian heavyweights, Napoli and Dutch side Feyenoord – which is why it was a surprise that Shakhtar Donetsk managed to finish in the runners-up spot.

Following the win over Manchester City, the 44-year-old kept to his promise and attended the post-match press conference appearing with Zorro's mask, hat and cape.

"This is the most joyful press conference of my career," Fonseca said during the press conference.

"I feel great joy. I think not only Shakhtar's supporters but all Ukrainians have to be proud of our team," he said.

The win over Manchester City was made even sweeter due to the fact that this is the first loss Manchester City suffered all season, marking an end to an amazing 20 wins in a row for Pep Guardiola's boys.

But it doesn't mean that Fonseca's charges can relax now, as they now face the daunting task of preparing for the knock-out stages.
