Robson who received 2,468 votes or 92.57 per cent defeated other candidates namely Lucas Pugh of UiTM FC (4.99%), Gilberto Fortunato of Felda United FC (1.73%), Anselmo Arruda Da Silva Casagrande of Felcra FC (0.30%) and Zarko Korac of Kuantan FA (0.34%).

The 25-year-old player received a trophy, a photo frame from, RM500 as well as a host of sponsored items

“I am very happy with the award and would like thank all my fans for voting me and PFAM for taking the initiative to organise the event,” he said in a press statement issued by PFAM.

The award was presented by PFAM president, Rezal Zambery Yahya in Kota Kinabalu today.
