The Samsung Galaxy S III is an excellent smartphone. We would even say it's better than the iPhone 5 in many ways. After a year, Samsung is reportedly planning to announce its successor next month.
We're told that the company will once again emphasize features over raw specs; tricks like the eye-tracking Smart Stay were a big part of the S III's story, and we'd expect more of the same next month. "The leap in cool new features from [Galaxy S III] to the next flagship will be bigger" than the leap from the S II to the S III, sources say. If true, the move is reminiscent of how Apple markets its iPhone; not on raw specs, but on features. As TechCrunch's MG Siegler once put it : the spec is dead. --Dvice
