Apple Sold 37 mil iPhones,15 mil iPads & iPod in Q1

37.4 million of iPhones sold during the 1st quarter, which is 128 percent from the same quarter a year ago. Apple is back ahead of Samsung, which sold a total of 35 million smartphones in its most recent quarter.  Apple’s Tim Cook also said that the company’s earnings would be higher if Apple had more supply.



Meanwhile for iPads also set a new record with 15.43 million units sold during the same quarter compared with 7.3 million units same quarter, last year. For iPods and iMacs, both products has been sold 15.4 million and 5.2 million. IPods decreased 21 percent from 19.4 million last year.
