PETALING JAYA: Himpunan yang akan diadakan secara besar-besaran Sabtu ini oleh gabungan membantah keputusan PRU13 belum dimaklumkan kepada pihak polis, ujar Ketua Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya, ACP Arjunaidi Mohamed.

Bagaimanapun, beliau berkata pihak polis akan sentiasa bersedia untuk menghadapi sebarang kemungkinan yang berlaku.

Beliau juga turut berkata syarat-syarat untuk mengadakan perhimpunan ialah perlu memberitahu pihak polis dalam tempoh sepuluh hari sebelum mengadakan himpunanan tersebut.

"Pada 25 Mei ini, kita tak dimaklumkan sebarang pemberitahuan daripada pihak penganjur, bila, siapa. Kita pun tak tahu siapa penganjur.

"Sehingga sekarang jam 4.22 petang kita tak terima permohonan. Saya pun tak boleh ulas apa-apa lagi.

"Memang kalau mereka hantar surat pun tak cukup tempoh sepuluh hari," katanya di ibu pejabatnya, di sini, hari ini.

Semalam, Jurucakap Gabungan NGO Suara Rakyat 505 Badrul Hisham Shaharin berkata pihaknya akan menganjurkan "pesta rakyat bagi mengembalikan demokrasi yang dicuri" secara besar-besaran di Petaling Jaya pada 25 Mei ini sebelum diikuti siri-siri lain di seluruh negara.

Perhimpunan yang dirancang diadakan di padang berhadapan Amcorp Mall antara lain bakal menampilkan bukti dan saksi berhubung dakwaan berlakunya penipuan dalam pilihan raya umum pada 5 Mei lalu.

Sekaligus, tegasnya, perhimpunan tersebut "tidak ada kena mengena" dengan dakwaan mahu merampas kerajaan ala "Arab Spring" atau "Malaysian Spring" seperti yang didakwan oleh pihak pemerintah.

Perhimpunan itu dijadual berlangsung bermula petang sehingga malam dan menjangkakan ramai yang akan hadir susulan "mood" rakyat Malaysia ketika ini, kata pengerusi Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) itu lagi.

"Saya mahu menegaskan perhimpunan ini tidak ada kena mengena dengan Malaysian Spring atau berlaku merampas kerajaan atau dirancang berlaku (untuk merampas kerajaan).

"Sebaliknya rakyat terus bangkit untuk mencari demokrasi yang dicuri kepada rakyat," katanya.

Dalam pada itu, apabila ditanya mengenai kenyataan Badrul Hisyam atau Chegubard sebelum ini, Arjunaidi menegaskan tiada istilah "dalam kawalan" berhubung undang-undang.
