KUALA LUMPUR: Two anti-Bersih groups complete with a group of mat rempit have surrounded the vicinity of Bersih co-chair Datuk S Ambiga’s residence today.
Malaysiakini reported that said protesters numbering over a hundred were seen rallying against the Bersih 3.0 demonstration for clean and fair elections last month.
Joining about 20 traders led by businessman Datuk Jamal Md Yunus were about 50 largely youths from the Halau 1.0 group.
About 30 youths on motorcycles also made a surprise visit at the scene to show their support for protestors against Bersih.
According to the report, the three groups had converged at Jln Setiakasih 3 around the roadblocks that DBKL has set up a distance from Ambiga's house at Jln Setiakasih 1.
In the latest development Jamal’s group, who alleged that Bersih 3.0 had caused them a loss in business, decided to call off their planned street market.
