A spokesman at the Plus Expressways Bhd traffic control center said traffic flow to the north was slow moving, especially from Gurun to Sungai Petani, from Bukit Gantang to Perak Anjung, from Sungai Perak to Terowong Menora, from Simpang Pulai to Gopeng and from Penang to Seberang Perai.

"The traffic flow on the northern stretch is slow moving because people are returning to Kuala Lumpur, while in the southern stretch, it is smooth," he said when contacted by Bernama.
